Serenity Reflected and Red Mountain Majesty, #24 and #25 in 60/60 for $60

Quite the struggle trying to get caught up! There are so many paintings dancing in my head that I am dizzy! Not sure which to create first!

I am planning a few large, detailed paintings, but feel I must complete these 60 in 60 for $60 first...these two are just really special aintings to me, as they evoke a real emotional response as I travel back in time to the moment I was standing in that very spot! The west is so full of eye candy for the artist and nature-lover.

It is non-stop work!There is the choosing of the subject, selection of size and type of surface, then even when finished...you are not finished....photograph...email to yourself or process on laptop in photo program,,,,,,,,blog, paypal button....then the great part...........SHIPPING ONE TO A NEW OWNER!!!

Well, this marks being 1/3 done! Feels good to be home and reconnecting with the studio and familiar surroundings. That's when it is so wonderful to look back at what you have experienced. Productive time in the studio...finishing plein air pieces and a studio piece. Here is #19 that was painted plein air in Dubois, WY at Whiskey Basin. One of the most beautiful places I have ever been!

Number 18 is one of my favorites! Peonies are such short lived flowers and like lilacs, I just love their fragrance.

This piece was painted on location on a beautiful sunny day in the midwest. I was drawn to the colors and the cast shadows but the entrance itself was so inviting!

 

 I did go in after I finished.....and sampled several wines!!!
